Perfect for car camping! As a newbie camper I was able to put it up and take it down all by myself, a big bonus for simplicity. Fits 2 people snugly but comfortably. I went solo last weekend and there was tons of room for me and my stuff.

Did you go to a camp site? What about bears? I want to start hiking and camping also but not sure how to begin. You are in WA…do you watch the eagle and heron channels from there? Here is the eagle cam on Lake Washington. http://wdfw.wa.gov/wildwatch/eaglecam/video_lw.html although I prefer the herons myself;-)
I have this tent also…loved it at first! Be careful in the rain though. It leaks like CRAZY!
