Maggie Sudduth, also known as SudsyMaggie, hails from a small isolated rock in the Puget Sound region named Vashon-Maury Island. After being born and raised on said rock, she ventured up to Bellingham for a few years to study accounting at Western Washington University. She has since returned to her native island to live, while commuting to Seattle daily to work in the Belltown/Lower Queen Anne neighborhood employed as a Staff Accountant at Emeritus Senior Living’s corporate headquarters.
Maggie first started homebrewing in the fall of 2008. Quickly advancing from partial mash to all grain brewing – she has fallen in love with this tasty hobby. She hopes to open a brewery on the island someday.

Hi Maggie, my names Chris. I’m a fellow homebrewer. I came across you on Youtube looking up breakfast stout videos. I too am hoping to start a brewery.I totally relate to the excitement of brewing. I have learned a lot in a very short time. I went to a brewers fest in Coopers Lake Pa and I’ve been hooked since I taught myself how to brew while being tied to an assembly line in a car plant here in Ohio. I’m jealous that u live in washington. Ohio is so devoid of anything scenic, which sucks cuz I love the outdoors especially kayaking. Love the videos. I’m into my 4th or 5th batch now. I totally relate to the excitement of brewing. I have learned a lot in a very short time. Btw anyone who still likes to climb in a box when they get a package is my kinda person. I would be very excited to hear back from u! Take care
