On my hour-long lunch break on Saturday, I decided to wander up towards downtown. I actually don’t spend much time in central downtown, since work at the north end of the city (Belltown/lower Queen Anne). I quickly remembered that there was a cache at the downtown central Seattle Public library, the one that is a crazy looking building.

As I walked up I noticed a couple looking in the bushes near GZ, and instantly knew they were geocachers! Too funny. So we chatted and started looking for the cache together. A few minutes later, a girl showed up and started doing the same thing! I gave her a smile and said hi, that we were looking for it too. Some crazy guy hopped out of his car and tried to get us to come with him to deliver food near south Lake Union, and my first instinct was that it was nolenator, the cache owner trying to throw us off because at that point, we were pretty sure it was muggled. I still kinda think it was him, but I guess I’ll never know :)

I finally threw in the towel because I had to get back to the shop. I’m really thinking it was muggled but nothing has been posted on the cache site yet, so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. I’ve got it on my watch list so I’ll receive and email as soon as someone posts something about the cache (find, DNF, maintenance, etc).
I didn’t find the cache but I had a great time meeting other goecachers!
